Valentine’s Day: let yourself be tempted by pink gin

Freshly arrived on the market, the pink gin took rank in the universe of the mixology these last years. Its fresh and attractive color has made it a trendy spirit that allows you to create cocktails that are as original as they are enchanting…perfect for Valentine’s Day !

An infused gin with a unique hue

Originally, gin giants Gordon’s and Gibson, always looking for innovative ideas, began developing them. Very quickly, the idea conquered the consumers and it was not long before many distillers became interested in it.

It is a gin infused, usually with red or pink juice fruits, to obtain this singular hue. Among the brands that have already distinguished themselves, we note the use of strawberry, grape, currant, pomegranate, or raspberry. The result is a stunning drink that combines the powerful aromatic bouquet of gin with intensely fruity flavors. An explosion of flavors that allows you to twist your favorite cocktails or to imagine new recipes.

Bottles with different profiles

Two pink gins have already found their way into Ginsiders’ references. Mirabeau Rosé Gin is part of the long tradition of Provence rosés in spirits. This dry gin is distilled in a copper still and blends grape alcohol and a variety of plants with distinct aromas. Juniper, a must, meets coriander, lemon zest, rosemary, lavender, rose petals, and many others. We love its sweetness, subtle grape scents and lemony, herbal notes. Saint Amans, a premium French artisanal gin, comes from a maceration of fresh raspberries which gives it an undeniable bite. 100% natural, soft, floral and beautifully fruity.

Instagrammable as hell and ideal for waking up your classic Gin & Tonic.
