In the heart of Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City), Vietnam, Saigon Baigur gin is distilled in a traditional still imported from Europe.
Saigon Baigur gin features 16 botanicals. The classic juniper berries, angelica root, coriander seed and cardamom are joined by more exotic ingredients that make this Vietnamese gin unique. Buddha’s hand, lotus flower and dragon fruit bring Asian tones to this Vietnamese gin. In fact, it was the fruit of the dragon that inspired the shape of the bottle. The enticing nose opens with juniper berries and citrus fruit. More lemony notes soon take on spice. The palate is rich and complex. Juniper berries and white flowers, supported by lemongrass flavors, take on more aniseed flavors supported by peppery notes.
Saigon Baigur is best enjoyed chilled, with a tonic.

Saigon Baigur gin is the first premium dry gin distilled in Ho Chi Minh City, and its story begins in 2018. The search for the best herbal ingredients began in the markets and alleyways of Saigon, then spread to the farthest reaches of Vietnam, to the northern highlands and the heart of the western Mekong.
After 2 years of organoleptic research and a series of experiments with traditional European distilleries, the Saïgon Baigur team selected 14 ingredients (fennel seeds, juniper, Buddha’s hand, lotus flower, Saïgon cinnamon, coriander seeds, angelica root, black cardamom, licorice, Phu Quoc pepper, dragon fruit, star anise, lemongrass, lemon peel) to create their 100% Vietnamese gin.
The distillation of Buddha’s hand blended with the mist of lotus blossom gives Saigon Baigur Gin a unique fragrance. The distillery is located in Saigon’s District 9. It’s the first in the city to distill in a traditional pot still. Each distillation is supervised by a master distiller who infuses each ingredient separately and under optimum conditions to extract the desired aromas and, above all, control their intensity. This unique combination of local botanicals gives Saigon Baigur gin a fresh, vibrant taste, inspired by the city in which it is distilled. Aesthetically, the Saigon Baigur gin bottle resembles a dragon’s egg, a symbol of strength and prosperity taken from an ancient Vietnamese folk tale. A unique bottle for a unique gin highlighting the flavours of Vietnam
