It took twenty-six years between the release of ” Gin & Juice “, a hit from SNOOP DOGG’s debut album ” Doggystyle ” (released in the Bacs in 1994) and the creation of his Gin INDOGGO.
” When I wrote ‘ Gin & Juice ‘ in 1994, it was to talk about good feelings and real experiences, it naturally became a worldwide hit. By creating INDOGGO, I wanted to give new life to these feelings with a juicy and accessible gin that is as sweet as your DO Double G.” Explains the L.A. rapper before concluding ” I can’t wait for the whole world to taste my gin remix”.
The marketing genius of Snoop struck again.
After creating a collab with the Gin brand Seagram’s (for the 20th anniversary of Hit Du Dogg), he finally took the plunge and joined stars such as George Clooney, David Beckham, or Ryan Reynolds who decided to enter the spirits sector.
This new gin was created alongside Keenan Towns, the co-founder of Trusted Spirits, who describes Snoop as a ” Gin connoisseur.” He explains that it took 2 years to develop a gin that lived up to the brand and taste of Snoop, stating that ” His dedication to the brand makes him the ideal partner”.
As for Gin, it is distilled five times, infused with seven plants including strawberry and citrus flavors for a crispy, sweet, fruity and guaranteed gluten-free offer. INDOGGO embodies a ” laid-back Californian style” in the image of the HipHop star.
INDOGGO will be launched in California (Snoop’s home state) and is expected to hit the US market in early 2021.
